B B Q Grill Guide

Love barbecues and grilled burgers? If yes, then most likely you are one person who is often seen in restaurants or food shops which offer grilled food. Although the food may always taste good, the consequence of dining regularly in a restaurant could take a toll on your budget. When you eat out, you pay not only for the food but the service, the overhead charges and additional tips. The best advice on this situation? Buy your own BBQ grill and do your own cooking at home.

This brilliant idea will not only save you on money but it will give you the opportunity to make your own barbecues and burgers just the way you want them; be it well done or medium rare. Plus you get a chance to bond with the family and get to know your neighbors as you have your own barbecue picnic in your backyard. But then again, before we drift off and daydream on that beautiful scenario, first thing you have to do is to get yourself a good barbecue grill. Here are some great tips that might be of help in your search for the best barbecue grill.

* Gas or charcoal. The first thing you need to ask yourself is whether you prefer a charcoal grill or a gas one. In choosing which of these two would be best, the following factors should be taken into account.

• Cost. You decided to purchase your own grill to save on costs so it is understandable that you would want to check on the prices of the grills first. Gas grills are pricier than their charcoal counterparts. However the latter may prove to be more costly as time passes. This is because with charcoal grills you need to always have an ample supply of charcoal on hand. Unlike gas which can be securely sealed in a tank, charcoal that gets exposed to water or moisture may no longer be used.

• Fuel source. You need to check if you have adequate source for gas or charcoal in your area. If charcoal is a scarce or pricey commodity in your area, you might want to opt for gas grills for more convenience. Limited supply of fuel source (charcoal or gas) could make you miss a good day for a barbeque picnic.

• Heat control. If you want to have more control over the fire to cook your burgers with, a gas grill would suit you fine. Just like your stove or your gas burner in the kitchen, a gas grill would let you manage the heat whether you want it low, medium or high.

* Seller and warranties. Quality is important in choosing a grill. Aside from inspecting the actual product and looking over its features, you should also check the reputation of the seller and the warranties that they offer. For one, buying from a reputable seller is an assurance that they will be able to provide you with genuine top of the line products and be able to assist you in your future needs for repair and maintenance. Speaking of maintenance, grills are subject to wear and tear and a few shortcomings during use. Check the warranties and know what they cover.
